TGI Fridays

Drove past this restaurant on Thursday 2/15/24 going to go there for Dinner on a whim, (around 6:30pm) and there was 2 maybe 3 cars in the whole lot. I called the restaurant to see if they were actually even open? Thought they may have been closed since it looked like a ghost town and the woman who answered the phone was not very pleasant and seemed annoyed that I was calling to see if they were open, like they have gotten this question many times before. I decided against coming here because the ghost town of a parking lot should tell me something I guess about the food, when all the other chains surrounding this Fridays had a decently full parking lot. Whatever is going on and is propelling people away from this location is a shame. TGI Fridays use to be crowded pretty much all the time and was my go to place but have not really given this place even much thought recently. Whatever management/the corporation is doing to the chain, I would reverse course because people clearly are staying away just like I did tonight. Sad

All kinds of signs told me to just walk out but I kept holding on to the hope that things would get better. They didn't! Our waitress was nice and apologetic but seemed to disappear at times. I asked the person that brought our food for silverware. Over 10 minutes later, our waitress asks if we need anything. Silverware was in a podium 5 feet away. The staff seemed to disappear for long periods of time. Really strange for a well known establishment.

My family & I was very satisfied very great hot food! Great service & awesome atmosphere! We will definitely be back!

Ghetto!

I have ate at TGI Fridays for years....especially this location. This was BY FAR the worst experience. Floors were nasty, bathrooms beyond nasty. Service was horrible. They seemed short staffed but it was not real busy. Other patrons were seated after use and served before us. Bartender wouldn't even acknowledge some of us wanting drinks. The food was excellent even though we had to eat it super fast to make an appointment. We were there 2 hours and thst includes us finding someone to take our payment.

We decided to go to this TGI Fridays before going to Top Golf. We arrived with plenty of time to enjoy our meal with family, we thought. We were seated right away but I noticed the floor was sticky dirty where drinks or food had spilled and not been cleaned. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. Drinks were limited as many soft drinks were not available. It took forever to get drinks some came when the appetizer did. Some didn’t. They were Severely understaffed. I told the waitress what time we had to leave to get to Top Golf. She assured me all would be ok. Everyone finally got drinks and the wait for food began. We had 20 minutes to eat. The waitress did go ahead and bring our checks though. She just didn’t come back to pick them up. While waiting, I took my grandson to the bathroom. It was awful ! Standing water in the floor. One sink had no water…..nasty. The sign on the door said under construction. We were there an hour and 55 minutes. Terrible experience even though my salad I had to inhale was good.

What an unpleasant experience. I became very sick on a Saturday night due to not eating for a long period of time. So my husband found a restaurant he thought we could get food quick to help me get better. We stopped here and of course no one was at the front initially, but that didn’t bother me as much. Once we sat, the server never gave their name then it took entirely too long for the drinks to come. The server came a second time and asked what drinks we wanted. I guess they forgot. I needed something on my stomach. Finally the drinks came. We ordered spinach dip, chicken fajita (new item) and cheeseburger. Main course took awhile to come out and spinach dip was not good. Neither was my fajita. The only good thing was that my husband enjoyed his food. Lastly, the women’s restroom had water all over the floor and there were towels down everywhere. It was horrible. Thankfully I wasn’t wearing anything that swept the floor. TGIF, close already.

We were seated at a dirty table. The the waitress/waiter never told us his / her name. Never said hello. Just took our order from behind the pay station. We never got a refill or extra napkins. The place looked dirty. Asked the waiter for a drink Togo. He or she brought us two empty damn cups. We didn't have no damn drinks to put in the cup. I'll never go back here again. It didn't used to be like that. But now. It's so run down and out of order. Its terrible. I'm calling dhec too. Can't be up to code.
