Not a good experience. When I arrived it looked like the place was closed - it was barely 8pm and two people sat at the bar. I don’t know if they worked there or were regulars but they greeted me, told me to sit at the bar, and said the bartended would be out shortly, it took a while for someone who worked here to acknowledge me… and I sort of wish they didn’t and I just took this as a sign and left. Because the food took forever to get, I got a salad… and wasn’t worth the wait or atmosphere. The whole time I listened to employees complain about it beings slow, getting bad reviews online, about someone stealing, and someone else (maybe the manager) was the worst employee there as she didn’t acknowledge or help a single costumer, she sat in a booth while the bartender ran around trying to help and get orders and drinks for people (the place picked up a bit after I arrived but by less than 10 people) and you would think (based on my wait) that they were running a packed restaurant. At the end of my meal, I also was greeted with the person who maybe or maybe doesn’t work there to help the manager put up a valentine decoration at the bar. He stood on the bar to do it while the bar was where everyone was sitting to eat. I could hear the bartender say “you really shouldn’t do this with costumers in the restaurant” and she was immediately told it was fine and that it didn’t matter. Well that’s clear / this place doesn’t care about good service and there is a reason (with prices being so high to dine out) that it was empty.. taking that as a red flag next time that maybe a empty restaurant means don’t stay!
