Love this place. Had a hand in building the 1st in Charlotte, on Independence Blvd Parking: Try not to make parking a headache Wheelchair accessibility: Lots are always full for the handicap
Would differently go back
Went with my husband first time out in years and had sitter for our 6 kids ,was sat immediately and the table smelled like horrible cleaner ,eyes started itching sneezing then that was all I could taste was cleaner.sucked especially knowing we might not get to go out again for years. 80.00 wasted!!
When we fist got the it was empty and had to wait for the greeter to seat us because she had to make surebthe table/booth was clean, the waitress was new and didn't know anything, the bar tender was hollering to help her and boy did she have a nasty attitude. We got our food it was warm not hot and our sides look like they were suppose to be for babies. I haven't been there in a while and wanted to go back. Well needles to say I don't think I'll be going back no time soon.
The bartenders are fabulous. They are the main reason I keep coming back.
It took the waitress several minutes to come to our table to greet us and take our drink order. We ordered an appetizer but she didn't bring plates, napkins or silverware. When we got our food, my potatoes were lukewarm and the shrimp was bit old. My daughter ordered fries but didn't get them until I had to run the waitress down. When we got them, they too were lukewarm. I did not pay for them. They brought someone out that said he was the manager but he looked liked one of the bussers. Try a different Friday's. Too ghetto.
Order a Cobb Salad to go. Was not good. Chicken tasted burnt but was soft inside. Not all ingredients were on there. Some lettuce was bad. A year later 2023 and ordered the same Cobb salad. Once again chicken was burnt, all ingredients weren’t on there and lettuce was bad. Also ordered ribs and they were burnt and not tender.
The food was lukewarm. I had garlic parmesan wings as a appetizer . It was just fried wings. I had ribs, shrimp, fries and broccoli. The fries were lukewarm. The ribs already cut up. I ordered a heuva old fashion it was half of a small drink with mashed up cherries and lemon parts. I asked the manager to please take it off my ticket. He took it off. The waiter was very polite. I like the one at University much better. It has been two years since visiting this one. Now I remember way.
The waitress was absolutely wonderful, pleasant, friendly, and attentive. The food was the absolute worst, I had chicken tenders(extra hard and cold), fries(barely warm). The two other ladies I was with ordered sizzling chicken and shrimp. Definitely wasn't sizzling, and it was a slice of unmelted cheese on it. The table behind me food was not hot at all either. They were in the restaurant before me and ordered a Philly cheese steak, 45 mins later, she never received it. She asked for a manager, and the manager came over with an unpleasant response. It was a horrible dining experience for my table and others.
