Always great food and service.
Man has this place gone downhill. An old Colorado Springs staple has faded into mediocrity. Spent a little bit on a birthday dinner. Thank God for the kitchen staff because the wait staff we experienced left something to be desired. No refills on drinks, left the salad/appetizer plates uncleared. Had a member of the party with alcohol and didn’t offer a water or other beverage when finished. Paid too much for sub par service.
First time customer and had chopped pork and wings. I must say this was the worst tasting food I have ever eaten. The pork was dry, hard and covered with BBQ sauce to hide the old meat. Why would you put so much sauce on the meat when there are sauces on the table for use. The wings looked like pigeon wings they were so small and were supposed to be smoked and were not. The water was good if that's a consolation. They charge a premium price for everything on the menu.
2 burgers, fries & sodas - after the tip it was $48! Outrageous! 20 oz. Ribeyes go for $52 apiece. I'll buy my own, thanks. Even the burgers weren't that good.
Great place for lunch and decent prices.
ALL THE FOOD WAS COLD! I said to Mack,"as soon as the individual plates are ready, bring them. Don't bring them together. " Then it happened. They brought them all together and they were cold or room temperature. Who orders hot food and it comes room temperature. When we said the food was cold, they said, " I can take it back and put it in the microwave. What! I heard this was a great place to eat. We came to a steakhouse to get good grilled steak and you want to put it in a microwave and dry it out. Oh now!
