Texas Roadhouse

I am a fan of Texas Roadhouse, but going to the one in Tempe was horrible. I received my salad with vinegar and oil and when trying to put the oil on my salad, the lid came off and all the oil poured out. It was my nephew's birthday, so we all got steak. The wait was longer than normal, but it is not a huge deal, but when our order came out, they had the wrong sides on the wrong plates and my plate was completely the wrong order. My nephew's filet was actually blue and not medium rare. Then went to the restroom and realized there was no toilet paper in the stall. Had to wait for someone to come in and hand me some from another stall. Never had issues at the Gilbert location. I am very disappointed. I feel as if my nephew's birthday was subpar.

Definitely a Texas themed restaurant. Good service, no long waiting times for a party of 6 2adults 4kids during dinner time. We ordered a porterhouse, NY strip, burger, 2 kids tender meals and 1 critter meal. Our balance was around $130.00. The steaks was undercooked to our personal preference. We order medium well (porterhouse)and well done( NY strip) both undercooked so we just ate certain parts and will cook at home. The sides was good. A floor manager did check on us before food arrived. We did enjoy ourselves just wish our steaks was cooked right. I would return to this location we just have to make clear how we want our steaks, even though it's on the menu to how how you want your steak prepared. Maybe the kitchen was very busy because it was pretty busy. Our waiter was good. Not to overbearing but did check on us.

This Texas Road House was by far the worst I've been to. My family and I (4 of us dining) ordered our food and some appetizers. We had a hard time getting refills on our water. To make everything worse, our yummy rolls were burnt. We all received our food, My daughters ribs were overcooked (like eating leather), and her loaded sweet potato didn't come out for another 10 mins. When that finally came out, there were long knotted hairs in her potato. We had to wait forever for the waiter to come back so we could show this nasty hair. He took it back, and we waited another 20 mins to receive another one. By that time, we were all done eating. I ordered some food to go and never received my loaded baked potatoe with my steak. WOW. I'm very disappointed and we willl not be returning to this Texas Road House.

We came for the early meal deal for $12.99 each, and chose their delicious sirloin steak… cooked to perfection… which is really saying something, since I can’t remember the last time I had a steak cooked the way I actually ordered it. So juicy and perfectly seasoned! Not only were the steaks great, but their baked potatoes were the most perfect baked potatoes I’ve ever had at any restaurant… pillowy on the inside and crispy on the outside, with just the right amount of coarse salt on the skins. My husband got their side of green beans with onions and bacon, which were fresh and delicious. I chose their side of chili, which is super good with just the right amount of heat, topped with melty cheese. Oh! I almost forgot about their yummy rolls they start you off with… fresh out of the oven with a slight sweetness that’s addicting. Yum! Their service was equally excellent, as we were seated promptly, and our server Destin was exceptional. We had an outstanding experience today at Texas Roadhouse and will definitely be back soon!
