Teske's Germania

This place is the real damn deal. Impeccable German beer and schnapps/liqueur selection. Kegs were super fresh. Proper glassware - all that stuff. I’ve been to Germany and to German restaurants/bars all over the US, and this place is top notch. A haven in the city. Had the leiberkäse plate. This is a test dish for any German place and it was as good as I have had anywhere including Bavaria. Prost!

Pretty good food overall. Sauerbroten was a little dry. Schnitzels were pretty good. Spatzle and potato salad were very good. Tomato and cucumber salad was delicious. Beer, of course, was excellent. Service was great. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.

I have lived in Germany for years and make it a habit to visit German style restaurants in the US when I find them. I went with my family but was not enthusiastic about the visit. Our meals were cooked well but very bland. I hope this was an off day, so future patrons can have a good experience. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly.

This place is wonderful! Teske's has an authentic, fantastic and relaxing German vibe with authentic food and drink. You won't regret going here if you're in the mood for German food or beverages, or a chill friendly atmosphere. My wife and I are vegetarian so we haven't had their non-veg entrees, but the pretzel and potato cakes are delicious!

Just a great place to eat real German food.
