Teriyaki Madness

Horrible experience. After waiting 15 minutes with no food, I asked for my money back. Michael the manager was extremely rude and difficult. The rest of the staff was fine. I have left with no food and no refund. I can not tell you if the food was any good because I did not receive any food. Michael find a new career. Horrible experience.

Have tried this 3 times already and every time the chicken thighs have too much charred bits. Just tried breast for the first time and it was so dry I couldn’t chew it. Paid $55 for 4 bowls and Dumplings. Not worth the high price.

The good: The food is always hot and fresh and the customer service has been consistently friendly. I like the greeting and the “hot and fresh order for….” I just think it’s a nice touch. The place is also very clean. The bad: The last two times I came, there was some main menu item missing. Last time chicken breast and this time the steak. Also they didn’t have noodles. Turns out I am not a fan of their chicken breast, it tasted like dark meat and I know it wasn’t. I’m just not sure how they were able to make the chicken taste that way. It’s also pricey. I will stick to Chicken Kitchen next door. They have a chicken teriyaki option if I’m ever in the mood. **update, I stopped by at 1110 to give it one last shot, they weren’t open, doors locked but they say they open at 11…. Not sure how long they will be in business with this kind of management. I gave them another shot, I will say they are improving greatly. The last couple times I came, the food was hot and fresh and fast. Still seems like they struggle from time to time, but progress is progress. I’ll be updating my scores because of the improvement.

I was going to post a photo of what I ordered. Turns out I just dug right into it. My teriyaki bowl was so good. Hot, steamy and amazing on the eyes. Full of flavor and left me wanting more. All areas were clean and organized. The atmosphere is pleasant. Kudos to the manager and staff!

This use to be my favorite restaurant when it was downsouth. I was to happy to know a new one was opened up my way in Oakland BUT the disappointment is real! I brought 4 bowls which 3 had noddles and they were so old!! It’s like all they did was try to reheat them. It was terrible!! The rice was ok and the veggies could’ve been better but man spending over $50 on bad food is so wrong! Never coming back!!

This place is so good! The restaurant is so clean it’s in a big complex. The staff is so nice. The food is wonderful it taste homemade. The prices were really good to for the amount of food you get also, I recommend the chicken teriyaki all broccoli its amazing!! I definitely recommend this place overall in general for sure!!

I ordered steak teriyaki and got 6 small stripes of meat. Too pricy and they won't even offer a glass of water, you have to order a drink and on top to pay they ask for tips but there is no table service.

Nastiest teriyaki we’ve ever had ! Rice had no flavor. The pea and carrots were hard. Chicken was mushy texture. Never again.
