Wanted to try this place out, sounded like it would be a wild teriyaki experience but turned out to be mid at best. Portions are small and the edamame didn’t taste right. Will try this place out and order something different to make sure it wasn’t just an “off” day in the kitchen.
Compared to Tokyo Joe's, this place kind of misses the mark.
Tiny portions, overpriced, long wait despite no customers, can't even get white rice right (mush ball). No reason to ever go here.
Love this spot! Quick service and the food is delish. I recommend the spicy, grilled orange chicken
Wonderful service and great food!
Don't waste your money on their food. They'll give you minimal portions. Adding picture of a 2 protein meal and the quantity of orange chicken I got.
Great food at a great price, especially with the Columbine Rebel card. Really liked the fried rice and teriyaki salmon. The noodle bowl was a bit spicy, but overall great food, price and service.
When this location opened it was awesome. Yes there were the normal glitches that go with getting a franchise up and running but the staff handled it well and the food was fantastic. Not so any more. We have been faithful about it - sometimes a ship will right itself - but after a year of disappointing meals totaling about 30 family visits, we just can not justify going here anymore. First and most importantly, they have gotten really stingy with the teriyaki. When they opened, they would give you sauce cups that looked to be about 3 ounces - 2 cups for a medium bowl, 3 cups for a large bowl. This was the perfect amount to get a little sauce on every piece. The last few visits they have been giving exactly 1 cup per bowl regardless of size, and the cup is much smaller - about 1 ounce. This makes a huge difference in the dining experience, and is quite absurd because if your name is Teriyaki Madness the one thing you can't go cheap on is the teriyaki!! The second big issue is the add-ons. When we order extra meat or sauce with a bowl it is very rarely included. We gave up completely on add-ons, and noticed no difference in the portions, very disappointing for us because we like our meals a little meatier and are willing to pay for it. This is a training and procedural issue for management that could be dealt with simply by using a highlighter pen on add-ons when the order first prints. Other than those 2 issues the rest of the operation seems to be fairly well managed for a fast food location. There will always be times when a staff member doesn't perform well, or supply chain gets disrupted, but over many return visits, the food is fairly consistent, the staff is usually pretty good, and is is very rare to be told they are out of something. Yes, the wait time is a little longer than most fast food outlets, but it is a better product overall.
The food is decent but the wait is often long. Last time I was there I waited almost 40 mins for my food
