Absolutely what you would expect. No frills, just teriyaki bowls. Decently priced, not super busy. Didn’t realize it was a chain since it’s the only one I know of around here.
I'll be going back. Perfectly nice experience. The place was clean, standard strip mall restaurant but a little nicer than standard. Greeted when I came in and gave my order. "It'll be just a minute or two." I filled my water cup, turned around and he had my order ready in his hand. Very fast. I liked the teriyaki sauce they make, so got a little extra for my chicken and veggie bowl. Not strong or overpowering sauce but good flavor. All was piping hot, chicken was tender, cooked veggies had a slight crisp to them. Can't really think of anything more one could ask for. Plenty in the bowl, filled me up with a little more than I could eat. But I did anyways- Parking: Just a busy area, close parking gets limited at times. Othwise, part of a huge Home Depot lot.
The employees up front are always friendly and the spicy teriyaki chicken is well-cut and has that grilled char to it. It’s FIRE or as they say “BUSSIN” Knocks flame broiler out of the water.
Food is always fresh definitely my go to spot for a good meal. Check it out you won’t regret it.
One of the Worst teriyaki sauce I’ve tried taste like grains the beef was soggy fatty and tasted like old jerky
I have gone to the salinas ca location and also here in lake forest ca. I don't see how there's some negative reviews. FOOD IS BOMB.!! fresh and hot. What else can you ask for it keeps you full and honestly the food here gives me energy to go back to work. Happy tummy happy life.
I had the tofu bowl. It was amazing. The regular size is pretty big (pov of a 5’1 female). I finished it and was overly full
Chicken is burnt and tastes like a$$. Any questions?
