I am kind of disappointed. For $20+ food should be better quality. My rice was extremely hard and the meat was very tough. The service was good they’re always respectful men.
The place is open only 2 days a week. They opened another one in midtown and that’s all they care about. They don’t care for Harlem at all. Why should you care for them?
Mido and the staff are welcoming. Place smells AMAZING. Afrobeats playing in the background. Spacious and plenty of seating - interior decked out in African pieces. A must visit, grab some grub a glass of rose and enjoy a walk down Central Park right after
I happened to be walking by on Sunday so stopped in for lunch. I’m so glad I did - this place is awesome! I haven’t had much West African food but it was all very flavorful and well prepared. They have a number of sets you can order that come with a meat and a couple sides - I went with the yassa grilled chicken and it was delicious. It’s in the African cultural center and I found the space really nice abd decorated with beautiful photography. I’ll be back!
