The food and service was 10/10
Great Mexican spot! Delicious nachos!
Food great as always. It has become one of our favorites!! PS still is
Great Mexican restaurant in the Sunset Harbor area. Diverse menu with all the classics and good cocktails. Indoor and outdoor seating with great seevice and nice vibes. Dietary restrictions: Dairy free options Parking: Parking lot or street parking.
The service atmosphere and food are excellent here but the amount of food you get for the money is really challenging to justify. Came here for lunch and split 2 entrees and a cheese, chips, & salsa w/ 2 beers and walked out paying $100 after tip. This is the most expensive Mexican restaurant I’ve been to and I left feeling ripped off. Parking: Had to park in the Publix garage across the street.
Suffice it to say I came before dinner so it wasn’t busy so the service was completely inattentive but that’s ok since I wasn’t in a rush however I was disappointed with the taste of the food as well. I expected a lot more flavor given so many likes. I’ve eaten a lot of great Mexican food in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and in Houston. I went out of my way to try this place since I haven’t had much Mexican food on the beach outside of tacos and burritos. But when they serve dried out white meat chicken in their enchiladas ($24) it made me think the meat was probably sitting out somewhere instead of being in some delicious sauce. The verde sauce because I wanted it spicy was ok but nothing special. I don’t mind paying for chips and salsa ($10) but when the meal is mediocre, it makes me think that they have to sell it to make extra. Seriously there are some great inexpensive Mexican restaurants that give you delicious chips and salsa too. Tacombi is expensive too but much better. Bodega is better. Mama’s is better. Definitely no need to come here again for me.
