Teppan Edo

So that was what my nephew would call “mid.” It was not bad by any means but not anywhere near worth the price. The food was cooked decently and seemed to be of high quality but the taste just wasn’t there. I got the hibachi chicken and shrimp and my wife got the hibachi steak. The chicken was overcooked and chewy. The udon noodles were stuck to the grill and the chef had to scrape some of them off to serve us. Not to mention the fact that they didn’t even fry the rice. All this came after our party of 18 (we had a combined party for a soon to be bride and groom) couldn’t be seated together (two tables next to each other) when we booked this months in advance and specifically asked for this. They gave us an excessively hard time and didn’t seat us for an hour when we originally got there. At that point most of us had low blood sugar and were irritated in the extreme. That extra hour caused us to get out as the fireworks were finishing and we got stuck in the scrum going to the cars (most of us) or to the monorail for my wife and I. I really don’t understand what the fuss was about for this place. It’s worse than typical and far more expensive. Do not go here. Go to the Kobe just out of Disney if you really want hibachi. Probably cheaper and for sure better food.

I have been eating here for 40 years and it's always been pretty good.

Favorite place to dine in the entire world!

The food was very ELITE and my steak was very good along with the nice cooked onions, chef was very good (Yuma) I believe her name was and was very funny and a great atmosphere

This place has really good food, but I don’t really consider it much different than any other hibachi restaurant (with the exception of the oil Mickey on the grill). If you want a place with reliable and good food, this place will hit the spot, though the portions are kinda small. There are just many other more unique and delicious offerings at Disney that I would recommend over this. Shiki-Sai is supposed to be amazing and it’s in the same building!

Itadakimasu!!! Teppan Edo's food was very delicious. Our Chef was really nice. My family knows some Japanese especially my husband and son and the Chef enjoyed us all speaking with him in his native language. All the staff had great customer service. We tried Takoyaki for the first time and we loved it. My husband had the steak, my son had the Ebi (shrimp), and I had the Tori (chicken). Highly recommend eating here if going to EPCOT.
