Food is good though it's very overpriced. Definitely not worth it.
I’ve been a customer for almost 5 years now and they are so pricey. They came out with the new appetizer menu and I ordered a chashu fried rice that costs $5 and the CHIEF made a mistake and gave us a big one and the workers did not tell us anything because it was my first time ordering from the new appetizer menu and still made us pay $15 because the CHIEF made a big plate for us. There’s another once they gave us expired salmon sashimi and I complained but this “manager” said oh i’m sorry, i’ll give you half price for another order ??! like that’s now how you do business!! Anyways you guys just lost a 5 year customer, thank you for your bad services! Shouldn’t even have a one star. Should get a zero star!
Tenzan is my favorite Japanese / sushi restaurant. I have been frequenting them for many years now and their food and service never disappoints. I usually call for delivery (you have to call, they aren’t on apps), I ordered take out in person the last time, and I have dined in person multiple times (their private rooms are so nice - you just have to ask for it when you go in and they’ll give it to a party of 2 or more; you have to take your shoes off, so make sure you have a pair of socks or something to cover your feet if you don’t want to be barefoot). The quality and portions are the best I’ve encountered compared to other places. Their prices have gone up from when I first encountered them, but it’s very worth it. I tend to order a lot for myself to last me for the day I order and the next day (for sushi) and few days to weeks later (for soup & noodles). I highly recommend: •Salmon Lover (6 pieces of salmon sashimi, 3 pieces of salmon sushi, and a salmon roll with miso soup or salad; they give big pieces of fish and it’s great quality) - $25.95 •Green River Roll (tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and white tuna mixed with jalapeño wrapped in soy paper; I order it without jalapeño; it’s a very big 8 piece roll) - $13.95 •Alaska Hand Roll - $6.95 •Chicken Yaki Udon (comes with miso soup or salad; the soba sauce is the best tasting one I’ve had and it complements the thick noodles so well) - $14.95 I always pick the miso soup (decent size and great flavor)
I have been a customer for over 5 years and this never happened for my past order. Ordered a sushi and sashimi for 2 and this existed on one slice of the salmon. Not sure what it was, so I decided to pick it up and to take a closer shot, unfortunately it fell apart.
The salmon teriyaki bento box was good. It included soup or salad with 4 pieces of sushi and tempura. The salmon was one small piece with an average teriyaki sauce. Prices are above average for most items.
Perfect food and good atmosphere
