Tenders

Not the place it used to be. Prices are higher, portions are smaller. You have to put in your own order and the computer asks for a tip. I don't think I will be going back.

The place and staff were excellent. However, I was disappointed with the food, particularly the tenders, which appeared burnt and had gritty particles on them, possibly indicating infrequent oil changes and stale oil. Despite this, the service was prompt.

It’s called Tenders. They do chicken tenders… so it’s fair to expect they do tenders well, but that wasn’t the case for my visit. Chicken tenders were dry, bland, and over cooked. The sauce selection was pretty standard: I tried several of them and found the Caribbean Jerk to stand up well. The others were par for the course or just lackluster (the hot was basically Frank’s, and comes for what a bottle of it costs). It would be nice, though, if the flavors on the ordering kiosk matched the ones on the digital signage: The menu says “hot” while the ordering kiosk says “Blazing Buffalo, which might be a big turnoff for those familiar with a famous wing joint’s “Blazin’ Challenge.” I didn’t venture into more adventurous dishes, as they seemed like a caloric nightmare. For sides, the fries were hot and crispy, but nice and fluffy in the middle. The garlic bread was middling. Surprisingly, the mashed potatoes did NOT taste like they just came out of a microwave. I’d say a few notches above KFC, which for a QSR, is quite a compliment. I will confess I felt very nickel-and-dimed over the extra charges for nearly everything. Despite having to place my own order at a kiosk, bring my own food to the table, and bus my own dishes, I was still prompted to leave a tip. You can order a combo “meal” but still have to pay extra for the drink and most of the sides. And the self-ordering kiosk does NOT make it fast or easy. The phrase that comes to mind is “Florida food at New York prices.” Take note: there is an “extra tender” option under the sides I noticed after-the-fact, so some you might be able to sub a side for an extra tender if that’s what you’re after. The employee I talked to was nice and tried to be helpful, but I got the sense there’s not much they can do. Free parking. I was there mid-day on a weekend, so not sure what it’s like during nights or when there are UCF classes. Restroom was adequate.

For years, this place has consistently delivered unparalleled satisfaction! The food is consistently delicious, generously portioned, and served with lightning speed. We happily make the hour-long drive just to indulge here! Ignore the negative reviews. Focus on the positive experiences and give this place a try! Every bite is worth it.

The employee was nice and considerate as I was on a phone call outside when my order was ready, so she found me and handed me my food without interrupting. The food was also very good and fairly priced. I got the 3 saucy tenders with the honey garlic bbq sauce and omg, that sauce was amazing. The dish was $5 and change which is really good. I will definitely be back and will try a different item since it all looked good. Highly recommend!

The customer service was on point! The chicken tenders and fries at this restaurant are pretty good. The chicken tenders are crispy, and so are the fries. However, the bacon mac and cheese was not as good as we hoped. The mac and cheese was watery and lacked flavor, and the bacon tasted artificial. It tastes like fake bacon. It actually tasted like bacon bits from a convenient store. It was very chewy and hard to swallow. We were disappointed with this dish and would not recommend it.

The fries i got was probably yesterday’s fries, very hard. Way too little sauce on them too

First time here and the chicken was really dry and almost burnt. We got fries as a side and those were good though. Hopefully we just got a bad batch of chicken and it isn't the norm.

I like tender but I think i got food poisoning a few years ago, maybe the chicken was undercooked, I don't know. I wasn't sure and been apprehensive about ordering since. The bacon ism was my favorite and I've ordered recently but just today I met up with brother who i don't normally hang out with but we went and had some lunch at firehouse. We got ther and he said he hasn't been feeling well lately and explained how he ate some chicken from a restaurant called tenders and thought he had food poisoning from eating chicken form tenders restaurant....

This is THE To-Go place for chicken, amazing service, fast and above all else the food is BANGER!
