My all-time favorite place to have healthy meals.
The food is nothing special, just classic American food. I ordered the tuna and it was genuinely pretty good, but the prices were a bit high. The seating was not very comfortable and it was a bit cold inside the restaurant. However, the cashier was relatively friendly. In terms of the food, I felt that the portions were a bit small so I wish they gave a bit more veggies, which wouldn't add to their costs too much but would also feel more like a meal.
When I go here I like to think of Milo and what his square meal looked like. This is what I imagine. Not anything extraordinary or terrible. Nothing too filling but not too light. Not meat heavy, veggie only, or gluten free. Just an overall "square meal' is what you can expect. This is what classic San Diego fair is. P.S bring back the butter lettuce.
Pretty disappointed from this last experience at tender greens. This used to be my favorite dish. This time the chicken was bone dry and flavorless. The seasonal veggies consisted of just carrots and a few mushrooms, and the overall taste was just not good. Not sure what has happened to the quality of the food here. What a disappointment..
Kind of healthy food.. its a plus they serve liquor and beer, surprised they serve red trolley ale
Food was good and great healthy options. It just came out cold.
