Tempo Cafe

I loved Tempo! Everyone who works there is so kind. The food was great and their homemade orange marmalade is so good!! I definitely want to go back the next time I'm in Chicago!

All you can have in one place. NY wife and I visited Chicago for a short vacation and read that this was a must stop, so we went for breakfast the last day of our vacation, and it was worth it. Portions are huge, great flavor and the service was perfect. We really enjoyed the food here.

Love this place I have been coming here day or night for over 30 years even at their original location they have always been consistent great service friendly great staff owners are awesome treated us always well and serve the most spectacular breakfast and late night dinners. Ceasar and Family

We have been here several times with friends and family and the staff never disappoints. They are very attentive and the meal is delivered to the table promptly and as ordered. We always stop here when we are in the area.

The food is really good and very well served, the tzatziki is delicious. Just consider to go with some extra time cause there's always people waiting for a table.

Foti, who works here, can "enlighten" you about anything on the menu. He's very knowledgeable. Service is lightning fast. Juices are all fresh. Try the apple/celery or strawberry/orange. They make their own orange marmalade. That alone is woth a visit. Coffee is perfect. I hadn't been in over 20 years. In my youth, this was 24 hours, and a lot of us musicians would go here after gigs. Tempo is wonderful. If you are fortunate to to have Foti as your server, you will be even more blessed.
