Gross. Got a to-go order. The mixed tandoori grill wasn’t really mixed, we received a 1 inch piece of lamb and a lot of chicken kebab meat that was dry in the middle and mushy on the outside, I assume it had been marinated for too long and it was eating away at the meat. They also packed it while it was steaming hot so it ate through the Styrofoam because they wrapped it so tightly in Saran Wrap, and it continue to cook after they took it out of the oven and while traveling to us. When I opened it steam was billowing out, at least 15 -20 minutes after leaving the kitchen, the styrofoam was burned through, there was a puddle of water in the bottom of the mixed grill from the steam, and all of the food was cooked beyond being edible. The butter chicken tasted like Chef Boyardee with sugar, I’m assuming they start with some sort of a condensed soup mix. I tried to make believe that it wasn’t disgusting, but we just couldn’t eat it. Appetizers were ok, but over cooked and oil didn’t seem clean. I shutter to think what the kitchen looks like. I don’t understand the positive reviews for this place, maybe they just don’t really care about to-go orders.

AMAZING butter chicken. I wish the Garlic Naan had more garlic. And also the portions are small but it tastes great. I just wish there was more for $12.00

The sauce is very watery. I took a video but couldn’t post it. In the video, you can hear the sauce dropping like water drops from the spoon, that’s how watery it is. I ordered this from their ghost kitchen on Ubereats. The food was like 15 dollars, which is too much for the small portion they sent. I also ordered lamb biryani. The biryani was made with regular rice instead of Basmati rice. The rice was super mushy and overcooked. It’s supposed to be different layers of fluffy basmati rice. I don’t know how it is in the actual restaurant but the ghost kitchen is definitely not recommended.

I ordered Veg Biryani with Paneer as a top-on, and they did add Paneer. However, they added PLAIN PANEER, which I can literally taste to be as bland as it gets. Prior to this, I have experienced an order where an entire item was missing as well. At this point, the only reason I have to order from Teji's is that it is close to where I work. I hope they work on these issues over time, their tikka curry is good.

This is by far the worst "Indian" food I have ever had in my life... And I have had Indian food in India and around the world so I have a pretty good gauge. The butter chicken we ordered had an okay sauce but the chicken was literally boiled chicken breast, diced and thrown into the sauce.. there was no flavor in the chicken at all. The vindaloo was the biggest joke. It literally tasted like sour tomato sauce with pieces of lamb inside. Spices? aroma? forget about that Do yourself a favor and just buy the frozen Indian entrees at Trader Joe's.. I will pick that over this trash anytime of the day.

Easily the worst Indian food I've had in Austin. nothing works - Meat is tasteless and soggy, gravy is an overly oily joke, and they somehow even managed to get the boiled rice wrong. All in all, the food is far from being edible, let alone Indian.

Worst Indian food in Austin, rude service, long wait times, overpriced trash. The only Indian people I've seen there are new to town, everyone else knows to avoid this place.
