Came here on a business lunch and the power lunch was great. I started with the Brussel sprouts and then moved on to my salmon dish as the main event! They ran out of the cheesecake so that was the only sad part, but overall it was amazing. I will be back!
I have a problem with restaurants that charge an automatic 20% gratuity when their service is subpar. Why provide excellent service when you are already guaranteed a minimum 20% gratuity? My cocktail was brought out incorrect twice. The incorrect food item was brought out. The host was not friendly. Also, increase your food / drink prices by 3.5%; this is a mandatory charge anyway so why make it a special line item? Yes; COVID and inflation are real! We do not need to keep pointing this out. Adjust your prices accordingly. It is also frustrating that I am forced to pay 10% sales tax on the 3.5% surcharge and 20% gratuity.
This restaurant has so much potential. Good-looking restaurant. We had the chicken & waffles and the steak & frites...both were tasty...and so was the carafe of mimosa! The only issue we had was the service; we kept on having to ask for more coffee, syrup, and creamer...not acceptable.
Went for a networking event during happy hour hours. The service, food, and drinks were good.
My rating is low by my own standards but I’ll get to that in a moment… This is my second time dining here for brunch (my first time was years ago for a birthday brunch) and I must say things have certainly changed here. The vibes were good, the food was good (for me), but there were some GLARING improvements that need to be made IMMEDIATELY. So I came here on a brunch date with someone who has a severe dairy allergy. The menu mentions NOWEHERE where dairy or shellfish is present in certain dishes. My date enjoyed a Short Rib Benedict- which was quite tasty for the both of us- only to be informed after consumption that it was made with dairy (milk) products. Upon speaking with our server, who was quite combative in his response to my date’s allergies, it became quickly clear to us that most of the menu is made with dairy products. A word to the wise: LET THEM KNOW UP FRONT WHAT YOU’RE ALLERGIC TO. Based on the server’s response, this establishment is “too busy” to inform patrons of which dishes are made with dairy or whatever items may trigger allergic reactions in them. But also: TEDDY & THE BULLY BAR IS A GREAT ESTABLISHMENT, BUT MUST DO BETTER TO ENSURE THEIR PATRONS WON’T HAVE TO SEEK AN ER AFTER DINING. Dietary restrictions: They need to do much better in denoting to patrons which items contain shellfish/seafood, dairy, nuts, etc.
Adds a 3.5% restaurant surcharge to the bill instead of being transparent with customers about prices.
