Visited this place twice in a two week time frame and just stumbled upon the place. So that should speak volumes! The amount of food is great. The service was good, the person who comes to clean the tables, was pleasant when asked to come clean where we sat. The ordering the first time around was a bit of a challenge (and no, not because of language barriers) BUT the second time around it was better. ♥️The gentlemen helped me ensure some items did not have the meat (I don’t eat certain meats) in the appetizer(s)/deserts. Great food, the atmosphere is simple, petite, has a television for viewing pleasure but for ME, it will be a grab and go type place for me. Vegetarian options: Uncertain about the dishes however I am sure that if a person desired no meat in a specific dish it would be honored. There are some deserts and appetizers that do NOT have any meat.
Very good food and service. The staff is very nice. My daughter is vegetarian and they were so nice to make her a special meal without meat.
The food is a hit or miss. On occasion if you miss tea and Malawax and you want a quick taste of Somali food but don’t want to drive far,go here. it’s not bad for a quick visit but meh. There are better Somali food places. Parking: Free parking.
Long wait time - mostly because I did not fit in with their usual customer demographic base. Multiple people who came in after me ordered and got their food before I did. I waited 25 minutes for wrap and fries. The food was very flavorful and filled me up, but will not be coming back anytime soon.
