One of the hosts girls was so mean to a couple as they entered looks like they judged ppl in this place by appearance they wouldn’t give them a table and said they were over booked and only reservation which made me uncomfortable seeing that situation since we didn’t book and were seated. I’ve come here several times and never seen this before the manager came out and said we are over booked short staff and not taking anymore reservations in a way get out. If you are so busy why not get staff for backup be nice to ppl offer them to get on a waiting list instead of being rude and if they decide to take the time even better you have another new client that will continue to come but when you treat ppl like that delivers the message to more then 10 and ppl around that witness even more I won’t be back and is probably what they want here to keep a certain clientele you know exactly. So disappointed I couldn’t even eat.

We came here for our friend's birthday, and we had to sit at the bar because we forgot to make reservations. The host was so cool about it and let us sit down. This is a little piece of hidden tastyness. The food is Aaaamazing and the servers are all super friendly. Brock was the best and made us feel very welcome. Great place to eat.

It was excellent!!! The pasta, calamari and coffee was amazing and we love the wine. I came with my 83 years old mother and she was very happy and we love all the attention from Amber. She helped us choosing our plates and with all our questions.

I went there last night with my wife since it was our 11th anniversary since our first date. I’ve been going since the place opened many many years ago. Wow has it drastically changed and has gone completely downhill. The server I have to say was amazing, but that was it. The food was average really didn’t enjoy the desserts or coffee, which was very bitter and burnt tasting. The decor is extremely old and looks like it’s never been changed from what I can see. The furniture and everything inside is beat up. The lights were very bright even though we were there from 630 to almost 9. The atmosphere is bland. The music I don’t even think was on so you could literally hear every single person’s conversation, and the restaurant was only half full. And with all the restaurants now available I don’t think I’ll be back. It’s just an average restaurant at Best.

New ownership and chef. The menu was completely minimized with not many options. The food itself was terrible. I have been coming to this restaurant for 15 years. It is my last meal there. Service was excellent. Our servicer couldn’t console us enough because of the bad food experience we had. God bless the server.

Update: One week after replying to Tavolino’s response and there was no reply from them (end update). Tavolino USED to be where we'd take visiting family and friends. It was our go-to Italian restaurant for years. But something changed and the last two visits were not good. The last visit, my gnocchi was more mashed potatoes as they were overcooked. The staff was not all that interested in the issue and didn't even offer a discount. They were not as busy as I've seen in the past. I left hungry. So sad.

Well, we’ve been going to Tavolino for more than a decade and always viewed it as the best local restaurant and our go to option on any given night. This is no longer the case. We were very aware that ownership changed several years ago, but the quality and experience remained similar. However, with the recent changes, it is a completely different restaurant. We went for happy hour, but we were notified that happy hour is no longer until seven even though the menu states that it is until seven. We sat down in the dining room, which has the lights fully raised, definitely affecting the ambience. The typically delicious bread was cold, stale, and doughy. We had to ask for new bread. It was better, but not quite right. There were no specials. Typically, there is an iPad full of options with soups, salads, appetizers, and entrées. I ordered something from the bar menu. It is supposed to have Asian slaw. Instead, it was simply Napa cabbage drizzled with the sauce on the shrimp. It was completely different from every other time I ordered it. There were also less shrimp. Management did remove it from the bill, but it was a completely incorrect dish. My husband’s chicken was a rubbery. My son’s pasta was undercooked. The service was fair at best. My drink was very good. At this point, no reason to rush back. Very disappointing.
