Tavern United Transcona

Well, we won’t be going back. As empty as the tavern was, not one server, or bartender would come around and ask if we needed anything. Very poor service. Very far from friendly. I ordered nachos. After a half hour, and having to ask staff to check, I received the worst, soggiest, regretfully unappetizing order of nachos. Never again will I darken the doors. Save yourself the trouble, and go somewhere good.

Went for dinner last night was given a menu with a list of aprox 12 new burgers to chose from. Spent time looking at options as they all looked good. The server came to take our order and when I ordered I was told oh only 1 of the 12 burgers on the menu is available at this location. Like why in the world would you even bother giving your customers a menu to look at with something you don't offer. A complete waste of time and then having to go back and look at the menu again to find something else. If your only going to offer 1 of the 12 or so options it should have been explained by the server at the beginning or that menu never given to the customer.

Great food, great service, amazing staff

So I usually love coming here, I used to come with my GF quite often, we hadn’t been in awhile so decided to come this evening…. Hostess was terrible at her job, told us we couldn’t sit in a booth because none were available, which wasn’t true… so we switched to the booth we originally asked for… our waitress was terrible, almost rude… my drink I ordered tasted like whisky and water… she said that’s how it always tastes…. Again not true as the old bartender made them perfect… so yeah rude waitress, bad bartender, bad hostess… won’t be coming back, what a shame.
