Tavern On the Green

Beautiful seating area with clear walls and a high ceiling that allows you to see the outdoor space. The atmosphere is enchanting, especially with the what I think is a French touch decor. The service was exceptional, attentive without being intrusive. As for the food, with had the salmon and steak sandwiches—they were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The overall ambiance is both lively and cozy, making it an ideal spot for any occasion. We're already looking forward to returning for brunch!

I visited midtown over a year ago for my sweet 16, but the memories make it seem like it was yesterday—especially tavern on the green. It seemed like an elaborate tourist trap at first, but I was swiftly proved wrong. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was phenomenal, especially dessert. My mom and auntie who were taking the trip with me told our waitress that it was my birthday, and I got a delicious birthday cake in return. Even the ice cream served alongside it was a highlight. Overall, 10/10 experience. Absolutely visiting again when I find myself in the city that never sleeps.

I've always wanted to eat here. Finally did it. I ate inside, the atmosphere makes you feel like a grand lady out for tea. The food was delightful

It's a bit loud, but other than that, the atmosphere is wonderful, especially if you get a table right near the glass windows. The food was very expensive, but excellent, and the wait staff were more than helpful. It's a great extravagant night out.

The manager needs to be trained on basic manners and decency - we were a group of 6 and he spoke down to us as if we were nothing. Very embarrassing because I was with friends from the UK and France! Obviously never going back there but I’m hoping he gets some feedback. Horrible experience

Can't beat the location. Food and service are good too.
