The store is good. Employees tried to help me with a gift card issue... couldn't be resolved but it's not their fault.. tattered cover desperately needs to improve reliability and functionality of their online store and gift card system.

As a lifelong customer of Tattered Cover I was sad to hear that the original owners sold to a local investment company. I was however optimistic that it could be done well and even excited when they opened a new location near my neighborhood. I have visited the Westminster location twice and all I can ask is why? Why did I walk around for five minutes trying to find someone to ask about a books location only to find 3 employees gathered around a desk having an obviously personal conversation I felt uncomfortable interrupting? Why also is the stock so low? Seriously there are so few books on the shelves they are all facing cover out with many shelves empty in most sections Why does the shelving system look like a war zone? Many sections have books falling down, shelves falling down. One book case was not securely anchored and rattled alarmingly when I put a book away. A few of weeks ago I thought the disarray must have been because they were waiting for a shipment. Also if the shop looks a mess but the employees are just loafing around when the store is slow there is clearly something wrong. Whoever the higher ups are , send help!

Great spot. Had a hot drink and took a meeting. Wifi is from hotel next door and can be a little bit spotty

Books and atmosphere are amazing. Food is worse than airplane meals.

Stopped by this store for the first time since moving to the area and have to say I was underwhelmed by this particular location. I have frequented their other locations in the denver area and was surprised to see how barren the shelves were at this location. Most of their staff picks were gone and their sections for new books were only about 60% full at best. 4 stars since they happened to have the book I went in for but hope to see more effort put into inventory levels next time I stop by.
