Tasty Tacos

Great burritos

So GOOD!

Make sure to check their Instagram (@3brotherskitchen) to make sure when and where they're going to be. They were at a ghost kitchen on Ruff Drive at one of the food trucks further down the parking lot. We ordered the bo-rria tacos and the pork belly fries. The consomme that came with the tacos was fantastic. We also loved how unabashedly fatty the caramelized pork belly was. I want to go back for the banh mi and the rice bowls.

Enjoyable meal, would recommend a try. Ordered the Cinnamon Thai Tea and Beef Bo’rrias Burrito. First thing I noticed is they take a lot of care in packaging their food for a pickup. Foil wrapping job alone was probably the closest to perfection I've seen. The tea was a lovely balance between Horchata and a Thai tea. I'm a junky for Milk Tea and Aqua Frescas, so experiencing that drink was worth the trip. As for the Beef Bo'rrias Burrito. The consomme was delicious, the best tasting part actually, and as others have said, good balance of salt and spice. The burrito itself was great and enjoyable. Maybe it's just me, but the flavor is super rich and intense and after a while is almost too much. I came hungry, however I was satisfied with it about halfway to two-thirds in. Left overs for tomorrow it is. Last, but not least, the location. It's easy to get to though seems a little out of place with respect to the surrounding area. Weird first time visit. It's not super obvious where you're suppose to go. Place seems like it's setup to be a "locker" style storefront for people to just stop in and pick-up their orders made in advance. Not sure if the storefront is being utilize or if it's a work in progress, for me I just had to walk up to the food truck and ask for my order.

Not pictured were 3 Beef (vietnamese Seasoned Brisket) Borrias Tacos with their 4oz (can be 2 oz) consommé. We had that the first time to try it out and then later that night we went back for the lemongrass pork taco , the beef brisket and shrimp bowl with consommé dressing/sauce over it. The sample wasn’t enough and we were curious for more. It definitely disappoint! The beef brisket tacos taste like a deconstructed beef noodle pho - so much flavor! They captured the beef pho perfectly in their beef brisket. A lil bit on the smaller size especially with a higher price taco compared to so many taco trucks in the Bay Area. The consommé has enough spices and heat without going overboard on salt. This combo is a great twist to the popular birria around this area The bowl is comforting without being overly heavy like multiple tacos would do (maybe even a oil healthier) The lemongrass pork taco had a great balance with the crunch of the picked vegetables , well marinated and seasoned grilled meat with the creamy mayo sauce drizzled on top. (The size is still small compared to the price tag) Thai tea meets basic standards to what you expect a Thai tea should be. Not overly sweet and the cinnamon pays tribute to the cinnamon in horchata drinks from Mexican taco food trucks. This taco truck is nestled in an industrial neighborhood and the menu is fusion food : Vietnamese + Mexican They were also on point with their waiting time estimates. This place is relatively new so there isn’t many reviews. It’s such a hidden gem right now. Can’t wait to go back for the bo-ritto!
