The best Szechuan food in the East Bay! Must try LaZiJi(spicy chicken), the most valuable portion, tastiest, most tender inside and crispy outside lovely bites of chicken ever. The chef is a culinary master from China. The owners are super friendly, always make you feel welcome, definitely a hidden gem in Hayward, where good food is scarce.

I love Tasty Szechuan! The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The food is always fresh and delicious. The restaurant is bright, airy and nice. A real gem in Hayward!

The food was very tasty and the staff were very friendly! I really loved the cilantro beef and my kid loved the salt and pepper fish. Great portions (definitely shareable if you’re dining w others) UPDATED REVIEW Food is always AMAZING and this is now our go to spot for Szechuan! The dry braised green beans are the best I have ever had. My kid thinks so too. I also love the pickles they give before you get your food and I can eat bowlfuls of that stuff! Can’t wait to try the dry pot next time! Al the food is just fantastic and I’ll always give this place 5 stars!!
