This place is amazing! Everything is absolutely incredible. Food is delicious and service is friendly. We didn't have a bad bite.

Could be better. Had the Arroz con Mariscos. Rice was ok, nice flavor. But all the seafood was flavorless and the mussels, clams and octopus were VERY tough and chewy, which is painful. I may or may not come back to give this place another try.

Chef Carmen Revoredo de Izquierdo is a culinary pro at this fantastic neighborhood eatery! Having been to Peru myself, I can attest to the fact that this restaurant does a fantastic job of capturing the local flavors! Cecilia waited on us and gave us wonderful recommendations in addition to her warm and inviting demeanor during the lunch! There is a relaxed and informal vibe. The menu is rather large, and the food smelled so good that I completely forgot to snap pictures of the main course items when they were served! I typically take some excellent pictures of the food when I evaluate restaurants, but this time I was so impressed with the Taste of Peru food that I didn't take any until halfway through the meal!

I have not been back for years. WiFi and I are going tomorrow with a bottle of pisco to share. Can not wait. Love this hidden gem.
