I've been to Denmark and this tastes like what I ate there. Honestly, I think that's the most generous thing I can say. We stayed with friends there and my friend's husband brought home breads and pastries. We ate them and they were incredible. When my friend got home, she scolded her husband for getting the lower quality stuff from the supermarket. If that's low quality, wht do we have here in the US? We did try the stuff she wanted him to get and it was even more incredible and our minds were blown. This was on par with that and I feel that should give you all the information you need to know that you should try this!
The strudel here is amazing. Prices are very reasonable for the quality.
Best banana bread & great croissants highly recommend they have a big selection
Never been here a day in my life. But on Saturdays I’ll wake up to the front door slamming and go out to my shared kitchen. Standing there is my roommate box in hand 20 danish stacked high. And maybe a gooey cinnamon roll or something. And he’s yelling at me. “Haven’t you ever been to taste of Denmark.” I stand there cold, shaking, a little bothered by the thought that he’s right. I could really go for some sweet morning breads sometime.
I went during a super busy time on Sunday morning, but service was incredible and the baked goods are phenomenal. I bought sake Sourdough loaf and it was so so good.
