Ate here for the first time. Yummy delicious food!
The food is always terrific. My favorite is either the General Tso's Chicken or the sweet and sour pork with their very good dipping sauce. But I also like the different lomein noodles with either roast pork or chicken and the sides like the egg rolls or crab Rangoon are really good. My wife loves their mixed vegetables with shrimp as well as the egg drop soup while I enjoy the Wonton soup. The food is always good and they never disappoint on the quality. Parking: Tons of empty spaces in the parking lot but if you're going inside to pick up a takeout order there's plenty of open curbside space for a quick in and out.
Authentic Chinese food, great people and even better food! Fair pricing and a classic atmosphere!
The food is really good. My issue is I got a lunch special and it didn’t come with an egg roll. Every pickup Chinese I’ve been to includes an egg roll. The web site doesn’t say what each meal comes with so it’s unknown. Kinda silly. For the price I thought it would have had one.
They charged us for 6 things and only received 5 and when we went to go get it they tried to charge us again and argued with us about it and then changed the price when I came to pick up what left out. I’m sorry but do not eat here. They are awful and don’t know customer service
Taste of China has been a west side staple for decades. The food was awesome as was the service and variety available. Sometime in the past few years it feels like either they don't care anymore or perhaps there are different owners/employees altogether. Last night we ordered lo mein, soup and eggrolls. The rolls and noodles were cold by the time I got home with them (4 minutes at best) and the quality of the lo mein was barely passable. There were no vegetables. At all. We won't be back.
Always a local treasure! I always recommend this place when someone’s unsure of what to eat for lunch or dinner. Great options, and great taste! Always amazing yet overlooked.
