Taste and Glory

Upon entering this place, it was Instagram ready. There are so many little spots to take pics and post on social media. When we first arrived, there was a handful of people. As our food came, it was getting crowded, and people had to sign up to get on the wait list. Place was simply decorated and had a very relaxing vibe, where you can catch up with friends and family while eating brunch. Their drinks were on point and picture ready. We ordered: 1. Blue butterfly - refreshing with the lychee 2. Iced ube - Smooth ube flavor with what seemed like a light hint of coconut 3. Ube Latte - Creamy hot and smooth drink. Not overly flavored. 4. Chamomile Citron - Lightly flavored tea. Went well with the meal Entree: 1. Garden omelette - Very filling, and you can taste the different veggies 2. Florentine benedict - Creamy and flavorful. All the veggies make you feel like you're eating a little healthy 3. Basil ribeye - Tender and well seasoned. It had a little sweetness to it. Paired perfectly with rice and sunny side up egg 4. Steak and eggs - Had a savory taste to it but not super heavy. We couldn't get enough of the parmesan fries 5. Chicken croffle - The chicken was so crispy, and it tasted like the chicken was well marinated prior to actually frying. You can just tell that it's been marinating for a while. Sadly, the croffle got lost underneath all the chicken. Maybe next time, I'll order the croffle separate. 6. Yaki Udon- This one scared my cousin when she saw the bonito flakes moving. After mixing it, she literally licked the bowl clean. 7. Creme Brulee French Toast - This was no ordinary French toast it was crispy on the edges, I loved the burnt sugar on top. You can taste the crème brûlée in each bite. Everything we tried here was delicious, I can't wait to go back and try other items. Highly recommend, if anything, I say come early.

This is the best brunch place I've ever been to. We arrived a bit after opening on Sunday and were seated immediately. The servers were a bit overwhelmed, but were attentive enough and checked in once in a while. We ordered the perfect pancake, the crème brûlée French toast, and the chicken croffle. The chicken croffle is a must! I've never tasted a waffle like that. It was slightly savory and so fluffy. The chicken was lightly spiced and so perfect. The sauce was also very nice, but honestly not needed since the chicken itself had so much flavor. The pancakes were good but nothing you can't get somewhere else. The French toast was so light and fluffy, really well done. However, crème brûlée was too sweet for me. The music was nice and the decor was relaxing. Would recommend!

Holy moly!!!! Please read before going It was time to pay. The bill came out to $60, for two entrees and two drinks. For card, we left $3.00 because we usually like to give dollar tips (was looking at my wallet to give a $10). This woman came up to us and said do you usually tip and asked if everything was ok, we said it was great. Food and service was great. She said the $3.00 was subpar. We were confused, she kept pressing us to give more tip. Tipping is optional, I’ve worked at a restaurant as a server before, this type of behavior from the servers isn’t normal. I ended up changing the tip $13 on the card.

This woman literally screamed at us to give more tip???

I experienced one of the customers getting yelled at by this female server demanding more tip. This is unacceptable and embarrassing

Came for brunch with my family on sunday. The restaurant is really cute. The line was long but it moved faster than expected. Our server was really attentive. The food was delicious! My kids love the French Toast and their Mascapone Pancake. We will be back!

They force their customers to tip an insane amount.

Wanted to give higher, and give them second chance. Both time our food came finding ourselves without utensils, while waiters are occupied elsewhere never looking at our direction. I ended up walking across the room to catch them. Our food are lukewarm both time, which I hate most. The crab omelette tasted blend. Coffee is good, luckily.

The service is poorly bad. They went ahead and selected 22% tips for my receipt, which is insane. Do not go to this place cause they steal people’s money. For people who already ate here, go back and check your card to make sure they didn’t charge you extra.
