Outstanding food! Super friendly service and great ambience. Would highly recommend!
The food was good Atmosphere quaint Service amazing Kid-friendliness: They were very kind to my son, who has special needs, not always my experience when going out to eat. I'm always great full when people treatment son with a carind heart and smile, rather than awkward stares and glares.
Drive all the way there and it was closed at 5:45 on a Friday even though it’s purpose to be open until 9. The workers made sure not to make eye contact as we pulled in.
I just moved back to Sacramento after 14 years overseas. In preparation for my return I searched around on Google Maps and starred the restaurants I wanted to visit. After settling into my new apartment in midtown, this was the first restaurant I tried. I had 2 carnitas and 1 pastor street tacos and a cup of rice and beans smothered in a gravy-like pork sauce. Danny (from the photo) recommended some great guacamole sauce to accompany the tacos. Combined, it was a fantastic meal - heaven on earth! There is a reason this was the first restaurant I visited…and I’ll be back again soon. Please note the restaurant often closes early…so plan ahead.
The taco salad was impeccable.!
This place should be on everyone’s list of must visit food stops while in Sacramento! A perfect mix of farm to fork and soul food, no matter what I’ve ordered I have left happy and full. Thank you for the consistent quality, top notch service, and great beer selection. Long time customer who came to leave a well deserved review. Thanks!
This USE to be a good little Taco stand but has went down-hill in recent months last 2 time I got food it was soggy/limp skimpy on the meat...oh and talk about how OVERPRICED it is, everything has went up $4-5 this year and if you don't know better you'd think you were looking at Centro or zocalo's menu where atleast at those places you get a nice sit down Atmosphere for your money. So I think I'll be staying away from this Taco stand from now on..
