This is a family favorite been going here since ive been a kid (nearly a decade). Love the food!
pretty mid, veggie burrito was bland and chips were stale and not homemade.
Very solid taqueria, nothing extraordinary but holds its own on the mission scene. Their salsa bar is kinda jank and they're not going to be as fast as Farolito, Pancho Villa or Cancun but their food is legit. I had a grilled chicken super burrito and it was up there with its peers.
Tacos are decent here, the tripas (beef stomach) has a nice sear to it, cabeza (meat off the head) has some nice fat to it. Shrimp tacos are a bit upsetting though, not great produce with too much green bell pepper, really shouldn't be on the menu, stick to the real meats. The murals and decor have a nice and simple nostalgic vibe to them. Service isn't particularly patient for foreigners like me who doesn't know what they're ordering so if you're a taco novice and don't speak Spanish this might not be the best place to start.
Their quesabirrias are amazing!
This place should be full. Finest most beautiful shrimp taco I've ever seen.
Best quesabirria in town!
