Not good enough

Some of the best carnitas in the city! Love that they include avocado, not guac, in their super burritos.

Once I found out that the founder of Chipotle was inspired by the Taquerias in San Francisco’s Mission District, I knew I had to go and try one… and I’m really glad I did! This no-frills place serves some of the best tacos and burritos I’ve had in a while. In particular, the Carne Asada Tacos ($4.50 each) were amazing, the meat was super flavorful and tender, and the portion size for each individual taco was huge (so much meat!). Inside, the vibes are super laid-back, and the service is quick and friendly. This place is perfect for a chill night out with friends or family to grab some tacos. I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Mission District!

I loved the burritos here! Ordered the special burrito mojado (wet burrito), which was really good and served in a big portion. Orders come with a side of very good tortilla chips, which I appreciated. Service is fast and prices are reasonable.

solid mission burritos in this no frills mission taqueria! the carne asada was a little tough but good flavor. large portions and really fresh avocado!
