Popped in for a quick bite before a show at the stratz and it was fast and tasty... Ty !

We visited Taps Restaurant yesterday evening as we had tickets to a show and the restaurant was conveniently located very close to the theater. The food was great, as well as the atmosphere, but the service was not. We waited over half an hour for our drinks and the wait for our food was also way too long. While it is a small establishment, they seem to have plenty of wait staff so I don't know why we had to wait so long to be served. We arrived two hours prior to our show, but barely made it back in time to the theater which was right up the street. Aside from that, the food and drinks were great once we were finally served! My recommendation is that you allow yourself plenty of time if you plan to go there.

Wonderful service and drinks. The food was very flavorful, but the truffle fries were a limp and kind of soggy. I prefer crisp and hot fries. Everything else I have had has been great. I would definitely come back and eat here again. The spiced pear Mai-tai is very unique.

We visited during the St Paddy’s Tampa celebration! The place was bumpin but a fun time! The service was excellent! The food options were very good! We will be back
