The reviews and pictures on Google are for this location but mostly the other two back in St. Andrews. The last place has become a different thing (serving food and mixed drinks) so don't confuse this place with the last one. This is a great place to have a beer outside. There's a great view overlooking St. Andrew's Bay where you can see the sun set over PCB. It's dog friendly inside and outside. They have about five taps now (one of which is not beer) and a number of canned and bottled beer and not beer things. There are seats and picnic tables all over with some Cornhole and other entertainment. There's a flatbed trailer where live music plays. There are usually food trucks. The vibe is great and the people are really nice.
Incredible atmosphere, beer, and staff. This is a unique spot right on the water in downtown PC. Can’t wait to see them grown and expand in the coming weeks.
"Taproom" has now become The Grocery Kitchen + Taproom!!! With a newly updated interior, the same lovely garden/patio, and a delectable new menu, they're ready to bring in the business. Also, they're getting their full loquor license and starting brunch soon! $3 mimosas? Yes pls! As always, their selection of ciders and beers on tap will surely please :)
Taproom is now a service restaurant. Inside and outside bar is the same. Inside now has tvs and is brighter. Overall food is good but obviously are still figuring things out as they were out of several things. Garlic fries were good as was the open face roast beef sandwich. They were out of most desserts but we got the fried strawberries. Description was chocolate moose and fried strawberries. No moose to be seen and instead whipped cream. When we inquired nicely was met with horrible attitude from the female bartender. The male bartender was fantastic. Seems dishonest to charge for dessert that is 1/2 lacking. Managment never came out. Not a great service experience
Love this place, very chill atmosphere service has always been great.
We went to the Taproom because the online tap list was awesome. Unfortunately once we got there what was on tap was not the same, and what was on tap was quite common.
First visit: Place had a great vibe. Gr8tful Dad's band was a pleasant surprise. Very talented. Very genuine and casual, yet professional in every way. Bar staff was helpful with selections and recommendations. Fantastic atmosphere out back. [Even the bathrooms were a nice surprise - not dirty "bar" bathrooms]
Pretty cool local brewery. Live music. Friendly service.
