This bar is within walking distance from our hotel so we walked over. ✨Night #1- We love to play pool, so we asked Josh the bartender, who was great btw, if the table took cards, dollars or quarters. It takes quarters and he sold us a roll of quarters, which we used all of in the table. ✨Night #2 - different bartender named Jared, we ordered our drinks and asked to buy a roll of quarters. He said, I only have a couple rolls and I need them for the weekend. My husband told him, that we had been there the night before and was sold a roll and put the whole roll in the table and that we planned on doing the same thing again. He said, let me go look in the back and see what I have. He came back with a roll. ✨Night #3- Jarod again, he served us our drinks and when we asked for quarters, He told us he only had $3 in quarters. We saud ok, and played a couple games. My husband says all the quarters we have used to play pool the last 2 nights are in the table, and asked if Jared had the key to get the quarters from inside the table. He apparently got mad about that? Idk, but he told us to get out of his bar. My husband says "how much do I owe you for the drinks?" He said don't worry about the drinks, I just want you to leave the bar. There were maybe 6 customers in the bar. Why have a pool table that takes quarters but not have a change machine or enough rolls for people to play? Twilight zone feeling unfortunately. We drink high end and tip high end too, because we have both been bartenders ourselves in the past. Sorry for your loss of our business, we tried.
