Great spot for cheap eats and a must on a flushing food crawl! This place is a no frills hole in the wall that serves great snack foods for a super cheap price. My recommendations would be the peanut noodles, chive dumplings, and the fish ball soup. All tasty, all fresh made, and all under $5 each. Where else can you get that value? Parking: Some metered spots. Might want to walk from one of the paid lots.
this place is cheap and authentic... my mom is from fuzhou and this is the only place that hits the spot. dont come here if youre looking for anything other than cheap great food.
I‘ve only been there twice, once for dine-in and once yesterday for takeout of frozen food. Personal taste/preferences as below: I like their 肉rou燕yan(pronounce Row-yen). It is a traditional Fuzhounese dish for breakfast or afternoon desserts. After trying homemade rouyan, I fell in love with it. It's looks like a wonton and many may even consider it as a dumpling, but really? IT IS MUCH TASTIER! It is a meat filling wrapped in meat skin! not flour but meat skin! For the quality of takeout food, their skills are considered pretty authentic by the locals. and I would definitely recommend getting it in store for dine, for the experience (add vinegar! :P) and get that frozen rouyan to-go. It's a easy breakfast to make or even a small midnight munch. (Didn't get any pics, but ykw, check out for yourself)
Worst place to dine in they just keep raising up the price.
No cash, no services. No WeChat Pay.
Been coming here since 2008, came here again today for a quick bite. The dumplings they served were broken, I asked for a new one. The whinny woman in the front started complaining, “broken dumplings are nothing, eat what it’s given to you. I won’t even give you anything next time” lol what? so arrogant now? She said: Yup! Not selling you anything next time! Then she throw my broken dumpling into another plate that’s waiting to be served (whoever ate that probably didn't know). Operated by bunch of illegals, cash only, very shady place. Never going back there again.
