Tangier Restaurant

Amazing food, and good portions. We shared the tagine lamb shank, and everything was spot on: the tagine sauce, the lamb meat fell off the bone, the eggplant was delicious, and the pita bread was hot and fresh. Will definitely be going again!

The overall decline and atmosphere is probably from the decline of business in Portland. The food in this restaurant doesn't have any life to it.

The food was delicious. We ordered the vegetarian mezze platter and artichoke stew. The jallab beverage was refreshingly delightful. Would go again if ever I'm in town.

Food is great and people are super nice! 100% will come back!

Kabobs were delicious, full of umami, and tender. The rice had a beautiful and delicate herbal/floral accent. Hummus was bright and lemony which provided nice balance with the other flavors. I will be back to try more.

Dietary restrictions: I called before walking over to ask which dishes were vegan so we don’t waste our time. The person on the phone didn’t seem to know what’s vegan as they thought most items on their menu must be so, which can’t be the case. They seemed irritated of normal dietary questions and so I decided not going at all.

The kebab plate was amazing!

Their hummus is the best I've ever had.
