This is the first time I have gone to this place. I went due to a Moco passport and the people were very nice. Because of this I will consider going again in the future.
Haven’t been here in years but it did not disappoint. Went with my stepdad who doesn’t like Indian food but after one dinner he was converted for life. Try one of the Indian beers they’re pretty great. Also cannot recommend the pani poori enough very light and refreshing. And can’t have an Indian dinner without gulab jamun and kesari kheer!
The service was fantastic and the chicken Tikka was too fire for. So much food I had leftovers and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!! It is worth mentioning that they also have a great banquet space. I didn't look into it today, but from what I could see, they have a large bar and seating space as well as a great buffet set up for events. There is plenty of parking in a large free parking lot. There is also ample public transportation to get there.
There was water flooding when I visited so it spoilt the atmosphere. The negative point is that the staff did not have signs to be careful about the water a d nor did they make any special effort to go to the tables and inform everyone to be careful
I had the muteer paneer, tandoori chicken and rice. The muteer paneer was good but was slightly sweet. The chutneys were good. Chicken was good. The rice was old. Overall pretty good but slightly Americanized. I went back again today and the food isn’t authentic, very Americanized and not fresh. I’ve learned my lesson. There are other Indian restaurants in Montgomery County that are more authentic. The location of Tandoori Nights give the impression that it’s an upscale Indian restaurant but it’s not. I will say though that the staff are always friendly and professional.
No parking. Stopped and ran in to grab carry out only to get a ticket. Don’t do it!
We are regulars at Tandoori Nights. Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian choices.
