Curtis our chef was fantastic & Eduard was a fantastic host!

The food was great. Everything was perfect and we had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary. The only thing I think is not so good is the smell of the food in your clothes when you leave the restaurant but we know that this is something understandable cause you are in front of the grill.

Thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. I was in town for a work conference but took adult children because, well, Hawaii. One wanted Japanese food, but I was not in the mood for sushi, so searched for a steakhouse. Found Tanaka of Tokyo within walking distance of the hotel and made a reservation on line. Both food and service were excellent. Atmosphere was very pleasant. Shared the table with a young family and enjoyed their children as’ reactions to the chef’s performance. Beer was cold. Really enjoyed the evening.

My family and I visited in March during spring break, and wow, the service was great. We made reservations for 4 online and everything went smoothly. The dinner service was great, the food was delicious and our servers did amazing! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun family dinner! Kid-friendliness: This is the first time a restaurant provided so much for our son who is 3. Booster seat, his own utensils that were sensitive to heat (for safety), crayons and a coloring activity and menu alterations.

We spent over $300 for dinner. I would say that food wasn't good enough to make us impressed. We should have had dinner at other steakhouse. Service and atmosphere are ok, but I think it's not worth spending. The only thing that we liked was that we drank hot tea after eating all salty food. This Hibachi isn't for us.

The customer service is very good and the food is great. They are very friendly with kids. The wagyu is melt in your mouth delicious and the presentation is on point. Try this place if you enjoy Teppanyaki at its finest and are in Waikiki. Complements to chef Nathan, or server Brian and management who made the night special.

Food was phenomenal! My boyfriend ordered the lobster & sirloin and I ordered the Filet and shrimp, both dishes were delicious! The lobster was so buttery and soft ,definitely the best lobster we’ve ever tasted! The Filet melted in my mouth it was so tender and juicy. We had one of the best chefs (shout out to Tino!) He put on a wonderful performance and made us all laugh! We shared a table with another family and it was just an incredible experience. The manager was very nice, and came to check up on us. Since we were celebrating my birthday they put a candle in some delicious chocolate ice cream and sang a song to me. We also had a great server he kept our drinks filled and checked in with us often, I can’t remember his name but it started with an H. If we were to visit Oahu again, we would definitely come back to this restaurant.! Dietary restrictions: They asked everyone at the table if they had any food allergies before preparing any food.

Food & chef Christian were good, didn’t appreciate the “sample tip” of nearly $50 being added to the bill before the total…. Along with the comments of the cashier girl when looking at our adjusted amount…. Yes you were heard… I’ve wanted to go here for many years, but I won’t be going back
