Finding a satisfying and quick meal can be a challenge during Orthodox Lent. After the Greek Independence Day parade, my friend and I stumbled upon Tamam on our way to Central Park. I must say, it was a delightful surprise! The falafel sandwich I had was hands down the best I’ve tasted in years. The pita bread was wonderfully fresh, and the falafel itself was perfectly cooked - hot and crispy without being overly fried. The toppings were a delicious explosion of flavors that complemented each other beautifully. While it did pack a little spice, it only added to the overall enjoyment. Tamam is definitely a must-visit for anyone craving a mouthwatering falafel experience in the heart of the city.
I got the eggplant one in pita it was huge and crunchy and soooo delicious!
Got a sabich pita. Overall unimpressed with the food. Was pretty bland, needed salt/lemon/pepper/etc and the eggplant was greasy with too thick of a breading outside making it hard to chew… service was great however and plenty of seats outside.
Feels like home. Their spicy could be a little bit more spicy.
Great food, not a vegan but I really enjoyed it Delicious and fresh
An absolutely fantastic place. A guy from Ecuador, made for a us a vegan salad that is for lick your fingers. The food is healthy, abundant and vegan. And the service has a high quality. I recommend it 101%
