Talula's Garden

Talula's Garden is probably my favorite restaurant ever. The locally curated collection of fresh ingredients is apparent in their rotating menu, each dish more delicious than the next. Do yourself a favor and start with the biscuits (or end with them) (or both). The ambiance is delightful and thoughtfully decorated, all the way down to which of the many beautiful bread plates you may be seated next to. I recommend Talula's whole heartedly and without a doubt, your meal will be delicious and the service will be excellent. Pictured here are the beets and tuna tartare.

Everything about this restaurant was fantastic. The menu has selections that are varied, uniquely prepared and delicious. The service is impeccable and the whimsical, charming decor is fun and uplifting. Highly recommend.

Outstanding restaurant. Service top notch. Food was full of flavor but not overpowering. Drinks were excellent. Next time in Philadelphia I am going back.

I never leave reviews, and when I do, they are always positive. My experience at Talula's has caused me to break that trend. Our evening started with a 20-minute wait for our table, which, while frustrating, is understandable on a Friday night, if handled properly. Unfortunately for us, other than telling us we'd have to wait, nobody from Talula's as much as acknowledged the situation. I guess it's an easy way to funnel more people into the bar. This relatively minor inconvenience could have been rectified with good food and service, unfortunately we got neither. The brussels sprouts were genuinely the worst brussels sprouts I've had in my life, and practically raw. The rest of our dishes could be generously described as mediocre at best. Philadelphia is a city full of amazing restaurants with local chefs, reasonably priced food and wine, and outstanding service. Talula's has none of the above.

Brunch is always A+. The raspberry gluten free muffins are delicious!

A dream come true! Everyone at my table was thrilled with our dishes and our beverages. I appreciated that they have an extensive mocktail selection - I loved “The Pilot.” The service was lovely and very attentive and the building is just so beautiful. We sat inside and the seating was comfortable for my plus size body and wide hips. Can’t wait to return! Dietary restrictions: They made a point to check in about the dietary restrictions for the table.
