Tally's Silver Spoon

Amazing breakfast! The chicken fried steak is killer! I was not impressed with the bison steak but I may not be appreciating its unique and more robust flavor. You can’t really go wrong with Tally’s!

Ordered takeout lunch for work; the host was friendly, and the order was ready on time. I had the banh mi (Vietnamese style pork sandwich) and it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life. Totally worth upgrading to sweet potato fries, too. This place never disappoints, I’ve ordered from here a few times and I recommend you do too!

Service was great. Food is way overpriced for how mediocre it tastes. The soup was too spicy even for my spice loving husband. The chicken/shrimp Alfredo was tasteless and the chicken in it was cubed, which is not something I should see with fancy fare. Every single dish was just so basic, especially for the price. Definitely don’t bring your kids, we got lots of stares walking in with our 4 kiddos. If this place was reasonably priced I would be giving it 4-5 stars, not up to par for its price tag. Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly.

Went in at 2:05 and they said the kitchen closed at 2, though Google says open till 9p. Wish Google represented correct hours.

Great place to go if you are visiting Rapid City! Good is always great and a fun little diner! Downtown with lots to do!

Tally's is an absolute favorite of mine. The staff are kind and accommodating and the food is just amazing. 1000/10
