We were blown away. The seasoning was spot on. Everything from the lamb to the hummus to the potatoes was outstanding.

Amazing Authentic Armenian Food made with love and fresh ingredients! Will be satisfied 100% we had the Curated Chefs Menu and was worth the journey of multiple plates and flavor profiles. Drinks are also high end top notch will be back soon thank you for the epic culinary adventure! Vegetarian options: Hummus is out of this world with fresh baked bread.

I wanted to like Taline but I had a disappointing experience. The food and drinks were sub-par: hummus that resembled supermarket hummus, cocktails that weren’t mixed properly, and food that just didn’t taste very good. The serving staff were polite, however, it took over 35 mins just for us to get our first appetizer despite us having a chef’s tasting menu experience. Finally, the restaurant has very loud music and an ambience that isn’t conducive to conversation. On the positive side, we did enjoy the dessert dish that we had - it was a type of coconut pudding and that was tasty. Overall, I don’t think my experience aligned with the reviews I’ve seen. I came on Valentine's Day so perhaps that contributed to a sub-par experience.

Went in with high expectations given the reviews. My girlfriends and I were disappointed. We were seated then not acknowledged for about 20 minutes. We had to ask the waiter for water. Then we got passed to seeveral different waiters, we were so confused who was serving our table. Throughout the night more disappointment, after one of the servers was done reviewing the whole menu with us and we wanted to order something specific, they said they were sold out of the option due to valentines day (at this point Valentines day was 6 days ago). And why not tell us before we made our choice? The food was mediocre, yet the price points were quite high. I doubt we will be back

Food was very regular that you can find anywhere in Toronto and it’s overpriced definitely for this kind of dishes. When I introduced myself to manager and asked his name, the manager did not tell me his name and was really rude and unpleasant in conversation with me. Though the rest of the personnel was very nice. Never again in this place.

Had a wonderful dinner at Taline. Service and food were great. Portions were large and perfect for sharing. Space was busy but not overly loud. Lovely environment for a special dinner out. Recommend highly.

Taline has an amazing atmosphere, drinks and food! For two we had the babaghanoush and fattoush to start, and both were so fresh and seasoned to perfection. Drinks were amazing, and such a large selection to choose from! We had the vochkhar (lamb) and ishkhanatsoug (trout) as mains, and both were fantastic! The trout was unlike anything I had before, and was so flavourful! We also had potatoes as a side with our mains which were delicious, cooked perfectly and had amazing seasonings added! We finished with the ashta tart, which I’m still thinking about! Our overall experience was amazing, with attentive and friendly staff, a delightful dinner and upscale but still cozy ambiance!

This place is quite the hidden gem. Some of the best food and cocktails in the city. I’ve been three times now (with friends and a date night with my boyfriend) and I can’t wait to go back! If you go, definitely try the Kaghamp, the lamb, and the espresso martini! You can tell the owners put a lot of love and effort into the place.

Incredible food and service! The chef's tasting menu paired with the cocktail tasting was amazing! Highly recommended and we will definitely return!
