Too expensive, food is really bad! I ordered the butter paneer, thinking you can't go wrong with paneer, ohhhh man, it was awful, the gravy was so gross, it was definitely not your normal punjabi shahi paneer made with cream, I think they made the gravy with yogurt or something, it was really awfull. I also ordered the mishti doui desert, ohhhhh God, after the first spoon I threw it out in the garbage! It wasn't sweet, it was just sour.....nasty....
Really tasty food. We ordered a bunch of items -- veg chop, egg devil, and fish fry as starters , prawn Malai curry, mutton dakbanglo, luchi and koraishutir kochuri for mains -- and all of them were finger licking tasty. The prawn Malai curry and mutton dakbunglow deserves special mention. Five stars for the food.
I want to root for all Bengali offerings in the Bay Area but sadly this was disappointing. Hoping feedback is taken positively and issues are fixed. I look forward to re-visiting them again. * On reaching we were told they were out of Biryani and Rolls. Even Fish Fry was out of stock. That greatly eliminated some of the options we really wanted. This was a Sunday evening btw. Shortage issues are understandable so wasn't too bummed about this but wanted to call out. * Egg devil filling was a bit sour (not sure if it was due to excess lemon or something else). * Chicken Reshami Kebab had a bad smell. We didn't finish it. * The Lasooni Chicken was good but the pieces were dry. Seemed like the meat wasn't fresh. Service and ambience was good. Outside area has decent parking. Hoping this is a one-off. All the best.
I came here with my friends one evening for dinner and we had a great time. The food was delicious. I think this is one of the best Indian restaurants in the Bay Area , that also has Kolkata style Bengali food. The food was made fresh and each dish had its own distinct flavor. The owner was also very friendly and she chatted with us for a long time . Overall I will highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try out delectable North Indian food.
Authentic delicious food with beautiful ambiance.
We ordered mutton dakbungalow but really disappointed with the quantity for the price charged. We were charged 28$ for a small box with not even 4 pieces of mutton. The price is ridiculous, it’s priced as a Michelin star restaurant. I know this review gonna be deleted again, but want to call out for others
The food is amazing. We had paneer curry and coriander chicken.. A secret place that I don't want other people to know....
Such flavorful dishes! An absolute gem, and the pani puri outside was so tasty and a fun start to the meal. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area.
Amazing Bengali food. Very awesome taste. Although not all the items on the menu are available to order, whatever we ate we loved it probably they r just starting out as new restaurant. MISTHI DOI is next level sweet.
Waste of money! They really need a professional chef to cook their dishes!
