I go to this place for Friday night dancing via Latin Street dancing and love the vibe here. Great crowd, great music, good times. I like that it’s not a club scene. I’ve never dined here, but the bar service and hostess have always been wonderful when I go for dancing.
Worst place we've been to in a long time but we were with a large group and didn't want to say anything. Lousy service lousy food and music so loud you can't even hear the person next to you. But all the other customers seem to be drunk so it didn't bother them. I ordered tacos. 5 minutes later they bring me a saucer sized plate with two tiny tacos. I thought they accidentally brought me somebody's appetizer but the waiter said no this is what you ordered. I said where's the rice and beans and I was told this is it. For $11?! "Yes." The "tacos" consisted of two pieces of greasy meet some cilantro and something else. I bit into it and it was awful. I figured I would eat the chips and salsa but the rsalsa was disgusting and the guacamole was tasteless. After we left everybody started talking and admitted that we were all afraid to say anything to each other but we all agreed that the food and the service was horrible and we are never going back. Don't waste your money.
I went for salsa dancing! So fun!
Takito Street offers decent Mexican eatery. The Shishito Pepper Fundido and the Smoked Pork Belly refried bean dip were amazing, and the Flight of Salsa was decent, though we only received 4 salsas in our order while it was advertised as 5. Of the tacos, I found the Pulpo and Barbacoa enjoyable. The service was a bit slow, as we experienced a longer wait in having our order taken and later receiving the bill. The dining environment became quite loud at night, with the music progressively getting louder as the restaurant transitioned into more of a bar space around 8pm.
The Atmosphere of Friday Tropical Dance is amazing. The food is good to , I had tacos :). I highly recommend Takito
It was a good restaurant. Food was very good but, tacos were too small tho...
