Taj Palace Indian Cuisine

First of all, I hardly ever write a review. I have been going to this establishment for like 10 years. Always had a good experience and the food is always very good. My husband and I decided to go to the buffet yesterday. We got our food and sat down to eat. I filled half of my plate, since that is all I can eat. I started eating and after 6 bites, I ran outside and vomited. It was NOT the food, it was me. I have issues sometimes with my food. I was afraid to continue eating at this time. However, I didn't want to pay $20 something dollars for 6 bites. I know you are not supposed to take a "doggie bag" from a buffet, but I felt that the circumstances in this case warranted it. I asked one of the waiters who was the Manager. He said he was. I told him what happened and that this was my first and only plate of food and could I get a box. He told me absolutely not. It is against the rules. I sat there stunned. I get it if I had eaten 5 heaping plates full and wanted to take the 6th heaping plate full home. But, this was not the case. He would not budge no matter what I said. I was so upset. I contemplated never going there ever again. By chance, I asked another waiter who the manager was and he said he was. Apparently, every one that works there are managers. Anyway, I started to tell him my story and he cut me off to tell me he would gladly get me a box and a bag for me to take it home for later. He even offered to make me more bread. I don't eat bread, my husband did. Just like that came my box and bag. When it was time to pay, the mean and rude waiter brought over the check. I know he saw the box and bag, but he didn't say a word. I gave him my credit card. He then came back with his tablet and showed me the screen where I could pick how much tip to give. I wanted to give zero, but then I didn't want to screw the nice waiter so I gave 15% for a buffet. The nice waiter/manager was named Roninl and the mean waiter/manager is Mr. V. Gaddam. When I go there again, If Mr. Gaddam even comes near me I plan on telling him to get away from me. BTW, I had my "doggie bag" for dinner.

This is great authentic indian place to have food in vegas especially with all indian spices and taste. Must visit place for every time. They have buffet till 3pm also which is amazing.

Had never had Indian food before, I saw a couple trying it and they said it was good. So I googled Indian food and Taj Palace was rates high. So I ordered butter chicken, garlic Naan and chicken samosas. The food was amazing, will have to go back and try other dishes, just can't do too spicy.

We had an amazing waiter his name Deep, very friendly and befriended my baby, funny interaction between the too. This not my time coming but as usual the food is extraordinary!!! My only complaint is that I could not eat more food! Vegetarian options: All i can say is I can’t get enough!! Kid-friendliness: Superior Kid friendliness!

Good Indian food in Vegas. Limited vegetarian options but overall a good experience. Nice ambience and service.

We come here regularly, the food is soooo good and the service staff is excellent. Highly recommend!
