It’s fine. They have pizza and burgers and bar food. The pizza was alright and had a ton of mozzarella on it. They usually put on whatever sports I ask them to, which is cool. All in all a fine option.
Staff is rude, make no eye contact, and curse loudly while working. I'm not a prude but that's really unprofessional. I also watched as 3 employees stood and talked about what to do next while the trash can was overflowing. Lots of loud verbal complaining as well.
The staff who was rude. It seems they don’t want to work as it was mention on their board that they will be back at 3:45pm but after 4:pm the team member were there but the sad thing is you being a customer we’re chased off by the staff by saying we are closed… Disaster …….
It is insanley unfortunate that this is the only bar in the jeunu airport. As stated in previous reviews, the young lady that says "hun" is not a fairy tale. She is here, and in charge! First, you cannot have your personal bottle of water from outside the bar visible on the table or else expect to get scolded. Then, every person at your table must check in at the bar, and show your face to make sure it matches the picture on your ID. Oh, and did anyone mention that she says "hun" at the end of all of these demands. Luckily, there was a bar full of people in disbelief at this young lady's disgusting attitude. I was able to just laugh it all off and realize I will never be back to this establishment again.
The guy up front completely ignored me and went and just walked around doing nothing. He also threw stuff around when making smoothies and yelled at my friend for ordering a smoothie that wasn’t available.
Attitude of the bar tender is terrible. She’s not nice to customers at all. It’s strange too because she’s condescending to people but then calls everyone “hun” which makes it even worse.
Waitstaff’s general mood seemed meh, across more than one server. Someone stopped by for a soda who didn’t drink and they turned them away. I get it’s a small space but it’s not cool to not serve someone who doesn’t drink alcohol. Prices are hard to find for general things and this are a bit more than you would think.
In life you need highs and lows. Without the lows, the highs wouldn’t be as great as they are. Luckily for me, or unfortunately, every mocha I have for the next month will taste at least 10 times better than it normally would. That is unless I have a total lapse in judgement and get another mocha from tailwinds. Get a coffee from the heritage stand by AIH and save yourself the misery of the wretched tailwind brew.
At 5:00 AM in the morning, a Mocha and breakfast burrito are much appreciated since AK Air doesn't provide a real food option on the early morning flight to Seattle. My server/barista was very friendly and helpful since my hands were full with a 6 month old.
