Average. Nothing spectacular. But not bad. (Limited options this east up Winchester) Surprised it wasn't busy on a Friday at 1130 lunch. 2 tables and one bar patron. Was seated immediately, server arrived promptly, food was brought out, and ck deposited at the table all in 20minWings were actually very good. Fried crispy and average size: not too big/scary to consume, but also not teeny. I requested all flats-was told a $2 upcharge-which is normal Appreciate the sweet-potato fry substitute option- another $2 upcharge, which also is normal. But the sweets are waffle-like and we're cooked to perfection and salted exactly right Waitress suggested the vodka-mixed sweetener special. I wasn't a fan. Too syrupy.Meal was good: suggest putting wings on paper towel to "drain" before transferring it to the serving container so the consumer doesn't have to see all the grease at the bottom (see "grease" pic). (I know I'm not eating healthy if I'm eating barfood, but it doesn't have to be blatantly noticeable ) Was told upcharge for all flats was $2- after I got the check turned out it was $2.50. Not worth it. Most places charge $2 (which perturbs me but I'll pay), but $2.50 is just too much. That's a 25% increase on the lunch special -while the lunch special is 17% lower than regular price. Overall not a bad experience. Waitress never voluntarily checked on me (I waved her down to ask about the vodka in the drink and the barkeep came by to discuss), but that didn't really bother me-but it might others so this should be retrained:reminded. Attention=tipsMenu is limited-basic bar food, only sides are fries and they come with meals. All the apps are fried except the spinach dip. But it's a bar- that also has 15+ tables. So that's expected I may be back: Tuesday's are .50 wings which, if I can get all flats then, it'd be worth the $2.50 upchargeFinally. The water had a pretty bad aftertaste. May need a filter or buy jugs and dispense Well wishes to the place. Hope it fixes well
