Great food and service if you come during its happy hour.
Amazing shabu shabu and great service! The soup tastes amazing, food is also very fresh. Highly recommend
Great experience! One of the server, Stephen is really helpful. Definitely will come back again
The food here is very good! They have so many different meat options to choose from, even if you do not eat pork or beef. The lamb and seafood are fresh. Stephen (Curry) was an awesome server and made sure we were always attended to and kept with new rounds of food on the table!
They have some of the most flavorful broths of all the Shabu places we've tried. We had the tonkatsu with garlic oil and the silky miso dashi broths and both were delicious. The choice of meats and veggies is diverse and the service is prompt. If you're not drinking, the Supreme selection is a very good choice. When they refill the broths, they don't just add the soup base, they also add a bit of the original broth so it stays rich.
I recently visited Taichi Pot in Santa Clara and was thoroughly impressed, making it my new favorite Shabu Shabu spot in the Bay Area. The quality of the Shabu Shabu was outstanding; the meat was exceptionally fresh, and I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of their ramen noodles. Additionally, the service was fantastic – friendly, attentive, and efficient. I highly recommend Taichi Pot for an unforgettable dining experience.
I came here for an Uber eats pickup. The staff was immediately rude, ignored my inquiries and told me to sit and wait. When I tried to sit down, a ridiculously top heavy desk that was being held up by the chair crashed to the floor. I immediately apologized and started cleaning up the mess, but the staff told me to stop and tried to make me wait outside in the cold. When I refused, the staff member i was talking to got in my face and attempted to intimidate me. After realizing none of the other staff would help me and it was likely I wouldn't be getting the customers order anytime soon, I cut my losses and cancelled the order. I believe the staff member who was extremely rude to me was likely the owner, as he blamed me for his precariously balanced furniture falling over and was quite rude to me, but none of the other staff would speak up to help or even try to get the food quickly so I would leave. All being said, it was a very unpleasant and traumatic experience that cost me about 15$ and I walked away with nothing but body shakes and an unpleasant story.
Wonderful!! It was my wife’s birthday and the family & I took her to Taichi Pot and they did not disappoint. It was a great service experience in every possible aspect. We cannot express enough thanks & gratitude to Stephon and his team for the exceptional food, service and warm hospitality for our special occasion. We so look forward to going back and making our future filled with many repeat visits.
