Taft's Brewpourium Columbus

I want to love this place, as the pizza generally has good quality toppings, it's one of the few sourdough pizzas in cbus, and it's a beautiful venue. But, they have a big problem with consistent pizza size. This is the third 16" pizza we've got from them over the past year that came in under 13". $26 +tip for a pizza that won't feed 2 people is just too expensive to justify returning to...Bring your tape measure when you go to eat or pick up from there. The first time this happened we ate in the restaurant and when we brought up the under-size pizza the staff gave us attitude, but they did replace the pizza. The other two times were takeout and I didn't wanna deal with waiting for a new pizza to be made so I didn't bring it up and just decided to stop going cause its awkward to repeatedly criticize a venue for simple quality control around advertised vs delivered pizza size... For reference a 12.5" pie (113sqin) is only 56% of a 16" (201 sqin) pizza. That's a pretty obvious and massive reduction in what is advertised...pizza does taste great though!

This was my first time at Taft’s and it was really fun! The toasted rav was sooo good! The pizza was not my favorite but I would go back for the toasted rav alone. Their playlist was absolute fire (a la early 2000s) and the vibes were great.

Taft's is a solid local brewery based out of Cincinnati. Their brewery is spacious & clean. The beers are good & they offer food (great pizzas). It's recommended you park in the parking garage attached to the west side of Gravity & have your ticket validated at Taft's. We'll be back!

Very good Pilsner beer. Good pepperoni pizza. VERY SMALL Italian sub! You can eat in one minute. Not friendly staff AT ALL! Not a good place if you want to have a conversation. It’s very loud. Bad music. Bad live band.

I liked this place a lot the bar is large there is a stage for live music (and there was some playing while we were there), a generous draft list and plenty of seating. They also serve food and we had many pizzas and a crudite plate that was delicious I was really impressed with the pizza and would come here just for that. We came here for a going away party and it was a good venue for it- easy to come and go and plenty of room to move around. There is a parking garage close by but is a little pricey- $5 for an hour during non peak times. Wish there was more street parking.
